Naukri must identify which segment of job seekers does it cater. Have paid enormous sum for their special services has yielded no return. Free sites do a much better job.

Oversight in life
Love cum arranged married
"The arranged part of marriage will solve all the worries in life"
With this guiding mantra we embarked upon a journey of getting my parents on board. But that was not the end. It has been about 1 year and 2 month of the marriage and we are still am not co-located. So the oversight that now come across as being naive is
> Look for professional challenges in life. Sales role is demanding and so is consultant profile. Pick complementing roles.
> Someone needs to make sacrifices, plan in advance.
> Preferences on whether you are career oriented or not changes with time.
> To quit the job or not is not that easy, since it is also a matter of financial independence
Life and marriage is no easy game..
.........at each stages you will get challenges to overcome, work around. Pick the right battle!

Oversights in student life
Innocent minds tempered with
When in school my mom would say, "Iss saal acche se padh le life sudhar jaygi" Do well this year, it will change your life. And it seems like that endless year of hard work will never cease to end.
Did phenomenon well in X CBSE, 90%, merit certificate in Maths. But it dint change my life. It meant some more. I was hoping to get in Commerce; Principal refused..saying, if you take commerce then who will take science.
Then started another ordeal of XII Science. Again followed the advise, "Iss saal acche se padh le life sudhar jaygi" . Again 92%, merit certificate in English.
Landed in NIT.. but here there were four years to complete.. 82.2% aggregate in Engineering. Who gets such percentage in Engg.? It is still an embarrassing score, with attendance at 97%.
IT job...
Life continued and felt chalo MBA bi kar lete hain. GMAT and then a Premium institute in India..
again IT..consulting..
Now I feel certifications are needed.. so when is this sudharti hui life coming my way..

Opportunities and Possibilities
Mumbai has been known as a land of opportunities. And my quest to identify a suitable role, job.. appears to me as me entering that world...."so much is possible.. if only the firms are convinced of my capabilities".

Changed your Name, really?
Married in Dec 2012 and name changed by April 2013 in all legal Indian documents, without greasing any palms. This could be the tag line of my resume or cover page as suggested by Nimisha.
Indeed to think of the ordeal that I went through was annoyingly crazy. The reason I changed name was an innocent attempt to match my Husband's idea and lack of knowledge of what was to come. Yet, to look back I really did the unthinkable. So kudos to you for your patience and perseverance.
